New pictures are added to OVEC's Slide Show. Pictures are taken in classrooms and at special occasions. Published with permissions of the persons portrayed. See if you can find yourself in the slideshow. Do you have a picture you like to share? Make sure you have permission and email your picture.
- OVEC Spring Educator Recruitment Fair
OVEC will be hosting the Educator Recruitment Fair on May 4, 2010 from 01:00 - 04:00pm. No appointment needed.
Held at the OVEC Office, 100 Alpine Drive, Shelbyville, KY 40065. Located in the Hi-Point Business Center off KY55, just three miles north of I-64 (Exit 35).

- UofL Scholarships Awards
The University of Louisville, in support of the OVEC districts, has awarded scholarships to students who will do their student teaching in an OVEC district for the spring 2010 semester. This initiative also supports teacher recruitment for our districts.
The applications, completed by the University of Louisville students, were forward to the district representatives for their selection. The following students are receiving up to $2000 scholarship toward their tuition because they wanted to student teach in our districts:
