  • Using the Arts to Teach Core Content: In this 3 hour PD, classroom teachers will learn strategies to incorporate visual arts, dance, music and drama to enrich student learning and retention. The strategies presented will represent examples of rigorous experiences as well  differentiation opportunities for your students.  This PD is intended for K-5 classroom teachers.

    Cost: $75 per participant for OVEC districts ($150 per participant for non-OVEC districts)
  • Dr. Peter Alter: "Strategies for Managing Challenging Behaviors." Targeted Audience: New and Experienced Teachers, regular and special education, counselors. June 26, 2008-8:30-4:00 at OVEC. Cost: $100 per participant for OVEC Districts; $200 per participant for Non-OVEC Districts. Limited to 35 participants so first come first serve. Click for an online registration form.
