Below are some of the best Internet web sites offering lesson plans for K-12 classroom teachers. Many of the sites provide links to other Internet resources you can explore. The first listing includes two sites for ESL and Migrant Education. This is followed by a listing of general sites contain links to many if not all subject/grade level areas. Next, we have a few sites that are grade level specific. Further down the list we have divided the sites by subject specific areas.

ESL & Migrant Education Sites

  • iClasses.org is OVEC's online courses for middle and high school students. This site offers 38 courses for middle and high school students. Site is available on a subscription basis.
  • Teach Spanish.com - This site is devoted to teachers of Spanish and ESL students contains lesson plans and other resources, some commercial, for teachers.

  • Blue WEB'N - Excellent source of lessons, projects, etc. for all subjects and grade levels.
  • Busy Teachers' Web Site - This site is designed to provide teachers with direct source materials, lesson plans / classroom activities with a minimum of site-to-site linking.
  • Cyber Guides - CyberGuides are supplementary, standards-based, web-delivered units of instruction centered on core works of literature.
