National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Coordinator
OVEC has an immediate opening for a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Coordinator. This a part time position of up to 50 days. 1 or 2 days will be worked in June and the remaining days will start July 1, 2009. Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. Must have experience in providing professional development for teachers and promoting teacher growth. Must have strong communication and organizational skills, ability to manage budgets and write requests for proposals. The primary responsibility is coordinating the activities of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification Program for OVEC. Deadline for application: June, 8, 2009

Project Director-Kentucky Parent Information & Resource Center
Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred. Experience required in implementing effective parent involvement programs. Candidate must have strong leadership skills and experience in regional and statewide education program implementation and ongoing management.
Position requires candidate who takes initiative and who possesses strong administrative, staff management, organization and communication skills.
