Civil War Museum contains displays and visuals pertaining to the Civil War. Newly renovated, it offers a trip that is both educational and entertaining. Accurately depicting this time in history are authentic uniforms, weapons, battle flags, maps and documents.

The Women's Civil War Museum depicts the role of women played during the Civil War. Many were nurses, some were even spies and soldiers, while many sustained the home life while their husbands fought at the battlefront. There are original dresses on display, numerous other artifacts and countless stories that are told.

The Pioneer Village is a reproduction of a colonial village, with original cabins from the country that date from 1776 to 1820. A guide will explain each cabin such as the Wheel Wright shop, the Forge, and Still House. Recently added is the fascinating American Indian Museum.

The War Memorial of Mid America honors those who served to preserve freedom around the world, concentrating on the role of Mid-Americans played in America's wars. From the Revolutionary War to Desert Storm, each is depicted with outstanding graphics and artifacts.

The Wildlife Museum features an extensive display of North American wildlife in their natural habitat, and exhibits of minerals and fossils from around the world.
